The beginning of Autumn is a welcome change for some but a less appealing shift for others.

This week's Autumn Equinox means the start of shorter days and nipping fingers.

But could we squeeze out a little bit of sun this weekend before we have to wrap up warm for our Autumn walks?

The Met Office says...maybe.

What will this weather be like this weekend?

Banbury

Banbury is forecasted for highs of 21 degrees amd lows of 12 again. It looks like it's going to be a very cloudy day in Banbury but it is very unlikely to rain.

On Sunday, we might see highs of 20 degrees with lows of 13. The day doesn't start out very promising but by lunchtime, it looks like we will get rid of some clouds and have sunny intervals instead.

Oxford

The weather in Oxford is a mixed bag across the weekend. Saturday is airly overcast but it could see highs of 21 degrees.

It definitely doesn't look like a scorcher but there is no sign of rain and Saturday's lowest temperature is 15 degrees.

The look for Sunday seems to be an all round better picture with a chance of some sunshine in the afternoon.

Highs of 21 are predicted again with temperatures in the evening dropping to 12 degrees.

Henley-on-Thames

There's some bad news for those of you in Henley-on-Thames this Saturday.

The temperatures look similar to the rest of Oxfordshire with highs of 23 degrees and lows of 12.

But it looks like it will be a very overcast day with little chance of sunshine.

The outlook on Sunday isn't much better. We should see highs of 21 degrees and a chance of sunny intervals in the afterrnon.

Generally, the day will be fairly cloudy again with lows of 13 degrees.

Witney

Saturday starts out as a fairly foggy day but it looks like it should turn to cloud by late mornig or early afternoon.

Witney looks set to see highs of 20 degrees- and lows of 12- on Saturday but there is little chance of sun.

It looks like Sunday will start out better with a clear start to the morning.

Temperatures will reach highs of 21 degrees but it will be cloudy from early afternoon and the rest of the day.

Across the whole of Oxfordshire, it seems like it will be a dry weekend.
