A patient was airlifted to hospital following a crash near Wantage that closed the road and brought down power cables.
Thames Valley Air Ambulance, an ambulance officer and an ambulance crew were called this morning at around 10am to a collision involving one vehicle on the B4494 Chain Hill.
The road was closed in both directions up to the Woolley turn off.
Following treatment at the scene by crews, the patient was flown to the John Radcliffe Hospital.
Homes in South Oxfordshire were left without electricity.
Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks said power should be restored by approximately 6pm.
