A larceny gang member has appeared in court over the theft of a Mercedes.
Ion Radu Egri, 24, is said to be part of an organised gang responsible for stealing or fencing stolen vehicles.
On August 27, he stole a 2016-plate Mercedes C-class AMG in Henley-on-Thames.
Egri, of Old Batford Road, Luton, pleaded guilty at the magistrates’ court last month to a single count of theft.
He was due to be sentenced at Oxford Crown Court on Tuesday morning. But Judge Ian Pringle QC adjourned the case for four weeks after learning that Egri faced other charges.
