Speakers are set to discuss a sustainable future for businesses as part of the Great Big Green Week.

Great Big Green Week in Oxfordshire feeds into a national week of events around the country including talks, workshops, bike rides, repair cafes, gardening and growing sessions.

Green councillor Robin Bennett, Deputy Leader and Cabinet member for Economic Development at South Oxfordshire District Council, is set to speak at Wednesday’s Eco Business Fair in Henley.

Councillor Bennett said: “The good news is that we already have many long-established leaders in the field of sustainable business right here in Oxfordshire, so there is lots we can learn from how they have grown and sustained long before it was fashionable to be a green business, and we’re glad to be showcasing some of them at Henley Eco Business fair on Wednesday, as part of our Green Recovery Plan for South Oxfordshire.”

The event will be held at Henley Town Hall on Wednesday between 10am and 3pm.
