POSITIVE case of coronavirus have risen by 358 in the latest figures, following the 206 that were recorded on Saturday.
No deaths were reported in the county in the latest statistics released by the Government, although two were recorded on Saturday.
The new cases were recorded as follows:
• Oxford (101)
• Cherwell (81)
• South Oxfordshire (68)
• Vale of White Horse (73)
• West Oxfordshire (35)
These latest figures mean there has now been a total of 59,957 recorded cases of Covid-19 in the county.
Across the UK, 29,612 new people had a positive test result reported today.
Between September 13 and today, 207,368 people had a confirmed positive test result.
This shows a decrease of 17.7 per cent compared to the previous seven days.
There were 56 deaths in the UK within 28 days of a positive test for coronavirus reported in the latest figures.
Between September 13 and today, there has been 1,003 deaths within 28 days of a positive coronavirus test.
This shows an increase of 3.3 per cent compared to the previous seven days.
The latest vaccination figures reveal that more than 48 and a half million people have been given a first dose, while more than 44 million people have been given a second dose.
