Red Tractor will run an informal drop-in clinic at Thame Market to give members more information on revised farm standards which take effect from 1 November.

Members of the technical team will advise farmers how they can comply with the changes and protect the reputation of British agriculture.

Philippa Wiltshire, who heads up the team, said: “For the last year we have been attending virtual meetings and hosting webinars to bring members on a journey to aid their understanding of the latest version of our standards which come into effect from 1 November.

“With many restrictions lifted, we are pleased to get on the road and meet with members face-to-face to provide support and guidance on the changes to our standards.

“Having an informal chat at market is just one of the ways members can get support and guidance from our team. They can also get help by visiting our assurance website, calling or emailing us with their queries, or by dropping us a message on social media.”

Red Tractor routinely reviews its standards every three to four years across all sectors.

It is the UK’s largest food standards scheme, covering animal welfare, food safety, traceability and environmental protection.
