There have been 300 new positive cases of coronavirus in Oxfordshire and no deaths in the latest figures released by the Government.
The new cases were recorded as follows:
• Cherwell (80)
• Oxford (65)
• South Oxfordshire (55)
• Vale of White Horse (53)
• West Oxfordshire (47)
These latest figures mean there has now been a total of 59,126 recorded cases of Covid-19 in the county.
A confirmed case is someone who has tested positive for coronavirus.
Across the UK 26,911 new people had a positive test result reported on Thursday September 16.
Between 10 September and 16 September, 211,303 people had a confirmed positive test result.
This shows a decrease of -22.4 per cent compared to the previous seven days.
The latest vaccination figures reveal that more than 48 million people have been given a first dose, while more than 44 million people have been given a second dose.
