Fire crews cut out a trapped driver from their car after a road traffic collision on the Southern Bypass near the Heyford hill roundabout.

Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service attended a collision on Wednesday involving two vehicles.

Crews from Rewley Road Fire Station attended the scene and had to use hydraulic cutting equipment to release one of the drivers who was trapped.

One person was taken to hospital with what was believed to be minor injuries.

Following the collision firefighter Graham Reading has advised drivers to take care on the roads and keep a safe distance from the car in front.
