Cinema goers are ready to return as tickets go on sale for the long-awaited new James Bond film No Time To Die.
As tickets go on sale in Vue Oxford the cinema chain has revealed that one in three people in the South East have returned to the big screen since restrictions eased in May.
In fact, when it comes to those in the region who previously identified as cinema-goers, half have already been back.
Charlotte Miller, general manager at Vue Oxford, said: “It’s been great to see more and more customers returning to the big screen experience over the last few months, and now that the biggest cinema moment of the year, No Time To Die, is on the way, we look forward to welcoming back more film fans who may not have been here for a while, to immerse themselves in the full big screen experience.”
Findings from the second stage of Vue’s Fulfilment Report shows that cinema lovers can’t wait to see No Time To Die on the big screen with 40 per cent of cinema-goers citing 'missing the experience' as their main reason for returning.
The Fulfilment Report is a year-long survey of cinema-goers that has also found that two-thirds of cinema-goers say that watching a film on the big screen would have a positive impact on their mental state that day.
