Tripadvisor reviewers have blasted a KFC in Oxford, with customers calling it the ‘worst KFC ever’.

The Cowley Road branch of the fast food chicken restaurant currently has a two star rating on Tripadvisor.

It has received 42 reviews, with 27 of those reviews rating the KFC with one star.

The one star reviews – also labelled as ‘terrible’ – make up a huge 67.5 per cent of all the reviews left for the branch.

When listed on Tripadvisor, the KFC branch is ranked 602 out of a possible 649 restaurants in Oxford.

It is also ranked 109 out of 109 in restaurants listed as ‘quick bites’.

What are the reviews saying?

Reviews have taken to the site to blast the KFC’s food, customer service and delivery quality.

Tripadvisor user JBW69 said: “Thought I’d treat myself to a KFC today & wish I hadn’t.

“Chips were burnt from keep being reheated & the chicken was dry, overcooked from being constantly reheated & the coating, if you could call it that, was dreadful nothing like the KFC I’ve been used to.

“Even the dog & cat refused to eat any.

“I would never recommend this KFC or would I ever buy from them again. It needs a total staff change or to be closed down! It’s a disgrace!”

Another, Myreviewr, said they never leave reviews but this was ‘too much’.

They said: “Chips were oily and soggy, burgers had missing items and looked like they just threw the ingredients on them.

“The bread and chicken were very hard. Lady taking orders was careless and forgot to give me chicken fillets and corns as side orders.

“Try to AVOID if possible.”

DFletch28 called the restaurant ‘absolutely disgusting’ and Annabelle101298 said they have had ‘nothing but bad experiences with this KFC’.

Ian S said: “Half the food was missing from the order, but what did arrive was not worth £25.

“Smallest bag of chips I have seen in my life, a quashed up burger and greasy chicken.”

Kazzy234 added the ‘chicken looks like road kill’ and there was a ‘nasty after taste’.
