A MAN has been arrested following an incident in East Oxford.

Thames Valley Police was called at around 11.55pm on Monday to a report of a loud bang in Saunders Road where a window was found to have been damaged.

A 23-year-old man, of no fixed abode, was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and possession of an air weapon with intent to cause fear of violence.

He has been released on bail and an investigation is ongoing.
