Oxford Mail readers have been reacting to the return of St Giles Fair.

The popular tradition was cancelled last year by the city council and Showmen’s Guild due to concerns about coronavirus.

It returned on Monday and today, with many residents welcoming its return in the late summer sunshine.

We asked readers on Facebook if they were planning a visit to the fair.

Some said they were delighted to see the fair back in the city centre and added there was a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
