World Cup silver medal winners from Didcot's Bernadine Soul School of Dance will be performing at the town's charity barn dance.

The Didcot Mayor, councillor Mocky Khan is inviting the community to a barn dance on November 19 to raise money for Play2Give and Coeliac UK, his two Mayoral charities for the year.

The event starts at 7pm and it will be full of dancing with the music from Ceilidh Tree, a dance routine from the Bernadine Soul School of Dance, hot buffet style meal and disco until midnight.

Councillor Khan became the town's Mayor in May and hopes to raise a few thousand pounds to share between Play2Give, which raises money for local charities including the Children's Hospital and Headway Oxfordshire, and Coeliac UK. This is a charity close to his heart as his nine-year-old daughter has coeliac disease and funds from the barn dance will support research into possible cures and awareness.
