OXFORD: David Jackson has been named head of office at property agents Savills.

He takes over from Alan Plumb, who has held the post for the past five years.

Mr Jackson started work with Savills in 1998, when he set up the planning department in the Oxford office and last year ran the company's Milton Keynes office.

Mr Jackson said: "Savills achieved a record year in 2007 and we are confident about the year ahead."
