WHILE very few of us are able to afford the car of our dreams, we may at least be able to save up for a picture of one. And there are few artists who have such an expert eye for the form and function of the world’s most beautiful cars as Jean-Yves Tabourot.
The artist’s work has gone on sale at Woodstock’s popular Dantzig Gallery, and the artist will be dropping into the Market Street shop to meet art and motoring enthusiasts on Sunday.
Gallery manager and photographer Marc West admitted to be being a fan of Mr Tabourot’s work.
He said: “Based in the heart of Oxfordshire’s illustrious ‘motor sport valley’ – home to such notable names as Williams, McLaren, Renault, Mercedes, Force India and Red Bull – the years spent combining engineering with artistry have led JYT on fascinating journeys of creative discovery, working with and immortalising the cars he loves.”
The show coincides with the Salon Privé Super Sunday luxury and sporting car show at Blenheim Palace.
