One trader has been issued with a formal warning after Thames Valley Police ran a joint operation with Trading Standards.
The Neighbourhood Policing Team patrolled Didcot and Wallingford and visited properties to 'ensure all was in order'.
On Twitter, Thames Valley Police's South Oxon and Vale of White Horse account tweeted that while one person was given a warning 'many others were all in order'.
