POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a woman was sexually assaulted by two men.

On Thursday, August 26, at around 10.35am in Park Road, Faringdon, near the junction with Palmer road, a 17-year-old girl was sexually assaulted.

Two men shouted sexual remarks at the victim as she was walking.

The offenders then ran up behind her and sexually assaulted her over her clothing before running away along Palmer Road.

One offender is described as a man, between 18 and 20 years’ old, over 5ft 6ins tall with short, blonde coloured hair.

He was wearing a grey/light coloured top, black tracksuit bottoms with an Adidas stripe down the side.

He was carrying a can of drink.

The second offender is described as a man between 18 and 20 years’ old, over 5ft 6ins tall with dark brown hair.

He was wearing black jogging bottoms.

Investigating officer PC Carly Meads, of the Faringdon Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “We would like to speak to anyone who has any information about this incident.

“It happened in the morning in broad daylight and has left the victim distressed.
