HOWARD PIMLOTT, 52, of Windrush Valley Road, Witney, was fined £660 and given six penalty points after the magistrates found he failed to identify the driver of a Nissan suspected of having committed a traffic offence. He must pay £156 in costs and surcharge.

DION POWELL, 27, of Bassett Road, Oxford, admitted driving without a licence or insurance in Godstow Road. He was fined £266, given six penalty points and ordered to pay £124 in costs and surcharge.

NEIL ROSE, 44, of Deneb Drive, Swindon, was fined £1,000 after he admitted driving a Vauxhall Astra in Bicester on May 5 this year while banned from holding a licence. He was also uninsured. He was banned for six months and ordered to pay £185 in costs and surcharge.

ASHLEIGH LEWIS, 41, of Shaw Close, Bicester, admitted assault and harassing a woman by sending her multiple abusive messages and making a number of abusive telephone calls. He was given a two year community order, 100 hours of unpaid work and must complete a six month alcohol treatment requirement. A restraining order bans him from contacting his victim for a year or going to an address in Bicester. He must pay £180 in costs and surcharge.

ALEX SMITH, 37, of Marriotts Walk, Witney, pleaded guilty to assaulting a woman by beating her. The magistrates ordered he complete a two year community order with the building better relationships programme, aimed at domestic abuse offenders. He must pay £180 in costs and surcharge.

BRENDON SHAMU, 23, of Pegasus Road, Oxford, admitted driving a Vauxhall Insignia dangerously on Pegasus Road on December 5 last year, failing to stop for a constable, driving without insurance and possession of cannabis. The magistrates bailed him to be sentenced at Oxford Crown Court on September 9.

MAJIDA AMJAD, 28, of The Grates, Oxford, admitted speeding on Church Cowley Road, Oxford, on January 1. He was caught doing 36mph in the 30 zone. The magistrates fined him £83, imposed three penalty points and ordered he pay £124 in costs and surcharge.

JOHN BENFORD, 50, of Winstone, Cirencester, admitted speeding on the A41 near Bicester. He was clocked at 67mph on the 40mph road. He was fined £508, given six penalty points and must pay £141 in costs and surcharge.

MICHELLE BROCK, 52, of Leach Road, Bicester, was fined £76, given three points and ordered to pay £124 in costs and surcharge after she admitted doing 49mph on the A41 near Bicester.

ROY CARROLL, 50, of Cromwell Way, Kidlington, was found to have failed to give police information about the driver of a Toyota Yaris suspected of having committed a traffic offence. He was fined £660, given six points and was ordered to pay £156 in costs and surcharge.

PETER TEMPEST-MITCHELL, 37, of North Drive, Harwell, was found to have failed to give police information about the driver of a Mercedes suspected of having been guilty of a traffic offence. He was fined £660, given six penalty points and ordered to pay £156 in costs and surcharge.

ROBERET CAWOOD, 37, of The Park, Doncaster, admitted failing to provide a specimen of blood at Abingdon police station. He was given a community order with 120 hours of unpaid work, banned from driving for a year and a half and must pay £595 in costs and surcharge.

DARREN PURDY, 44, of Mistloe Mews, Harwell, admitted assaulting a woman by beating. He must complete an 18 month community order and live at his property in Didcot for eight weeks. The bench ordered he pay £180 in costs and surcharge.

RYAN KILBY, 36, of Cherwell Bank, Lower Heyford, pleaded guilty to drug driving a red Ford Focus in Bucknell last December. He had cocaine and derivative benzoylecgonine in his system. He was fined £120 and ordered to pay £74 in costs and surcharge. The bench banned him from driving for three years.

JONATHAN TAAFFE, 36, of Conniburrow Boulevard, Milton Keynes, was fined £135 for drink driving a Vauxhall Astra in Market End Way, Bicester, on February 15. He had 49mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was ordered to pay £434 in costs and surcharge and was banned from the roads for 14 months.

ARSLAN KHAN, 28, of HMP Bullingdon, near Bicester, was jailed for six weeks for assaulting a guard at the prison on February 1 last year.

JANE BEAUFOY, 55, of Spelsbury, Chipping Norton, was spared an automatic six month roads ban after she admitted speeding in Devon last November. She was given three points and would have been banned as a repeat offender with 12 or more points on her licence, but argued a ban would have a detrimental impact on her son, family life and customers. She was fined £400 and must pay £135 in costs and surcharge.

MARY SWEENEY, 37, of Oaksview Park, Kidlington, was found to have failed to give police information relating to the driver of a Peugeot suspected of having committed a traffic offence. She was fined £660, given six penalty points and was ordered to pay £156 in costs and surcharge.

PAUL WEBBER, 62, of Cropredy Lawn Road, Cropredy, admitted speeding on the A338 in Grove last December. He was fined £115, given three points and was ordered to pay £124 in costs and surcharge.

JACK ROSS, 18, of Franklin Road, Headington, pleaded guilty to possession of a blade in Great Western Drive, Didcot, on May 10 last year. He was given a 12 month conditional discharge and was ordered to pay £72 in costs and surcharge. Drugs paraphernalia and the small red handled knife were ordered by the magistrates to be forfeit.

SAMUEL HARVEY, 33, of Rymers Lane, Oxford, admitted being found in Dorothy Perkins for an unlawful purpose, namely trespassing, an offence under the 1824 Vagrancy Act. He was acquitted of possession of a pair of scissors without reasonable excuse. The magistrates gave him a 12 month conditional discharge and ordered he pay a £22 victim surcharge.

MARTIN ANDERSON, 38, of Churchill Place, Oxford, pleaded guilty to driving a Vauxhall Zafira without due care and attention last March. He was fined £157, given three points and ordered to pay £132 in costs and surcharge.

JOSE RODRIGUES, 38, of Abingdon Road, Oxford, was fined £350 and given six penalty points after he pleaded guilty to driving without insurance in February. He must pay £125 in costs and surcharge.

CIARAN ROWBOTHAM, 20, of Spruce Gardens, Oxford, admitted speeding on the A41 near Bicester on April 1. He was caught doing 68mph on the 40 limit road. He was fined £300, given six points and ordered to pay £124 in costs and surcharge.

AKUILA DRESA, 45, of Faringdon Road, Shippon, pleaded guilty to speeding in a Land Rover on Station Road, Didcot. He was fined £66, given three penalty points and ordered to pay a £34 victim surcharge.
