The victim of a fatal crash in north Oxfordshire has been named.
Joanne Edmunds, 47, was behind the wheel of her red Ford Focus when it skidded into the path of another vehicle on the A361 at Williamscot Hill, near Chacombe, on August 9.
On Thursday afternoon, Oxfordshire Coroner’s Court heard that Ms Edmunds, from Daventry, died three days later at the John Radcliffe Hospital.
A post-mortem was conducted but the cause of her death was awaiting further analysis.
A full inquest will be held on January 20 next year.
Ms Edmunds, who was born in Northampton in 1973, was living at The Slade, Daventry, at the time of her death.
In a witness appeal issued earlier this month by Thames Valley Police, PC Gareth Miles said: “I am appealing for any witnesses to this incident, or anyone who was in the area and may have dash-cam footage, to please come forward.”
