OXFORDSHIRE'S new Premier Inn welcomed guests for the first time this morning.

The 117-room hotel in Banbury, which has six floors, forms part of the Castle Quay Waterfront project.

It has double, twin, family and accessible rooms, as well as 20 enhanced Premier Plus bedrooms which sit on the third floor and all have free Wi-Fi, Freeview TV and tea and coffee facilities.

The hotel also has a canal side Thyme Bar & Grill restaurant serving breakfast and dinner to guests as well as members of the public.

The Premier Inn is the second branch to open in Banbury and although rooms were released two weeks ago, it is fully booked for the next two weeks.
