POLICE have said that a 'traveller encampment' has now dispersed and left the area it was based.
Thames Valley Police thanked the local community who 'assisted and gave feedback during the recent traveller encampment in the Benson and Wallingford area'.
Writing on South Oxfordshire and the Vale of the White Horse TVP Twitter page, the force said: "The group have now dispersed and left following the use of Police Powers."
