OXFORD MAGISTRATES’ COURT

JOSHUA READ, 34, of Milcombe, Oxfordshire, was fined £660 and given six penalty points after magistrates found he had driven without insurance in Milton Keynes. He must pay £156 in costs and surcharge.

RAY RIGBY, 34, of Prescott Avenue, Banbury, was found to have driven on the B4100 in Bicester without insurance. He was fined £660, ordered to pay £156 in costs and surcharge and given six penalty points.

PATRICK RISSI, 44, of Riley Close, Abingdon, admitted driving without insurance or a licence in Oxford Road, Abingdon. He was fined £256, given six penalty points and ordered to pay £124 in costs and surcharge.

PETR SKOVRON, 46, of Humber Close, Didcot, admitted driving without insurance in Broadway, Didcot, was fined £360, given six penalty points and ordered to pay £126 in costs and surcharge.

SCOTT WALTON, 41, of Adderbury, Oxfordshire, was found to have driven without insurance on Banbury Road, Adderbury. He was given six penalty points, fined £660 and ordered to pay £156 in costs and surcharge.

MICHAEL WITCOMBE, 57, of Moley Gardens, Wantage, admitted speeding in Little Chalfont. He was fined £40, banned from driving for six months due to reoffending and ordered to pay £124 in costs and surcharge.

GAVIN GREEN, 31, of Gillett Road, Banbury, admitted breaching coronavirus regulations by having a gathering of two or more people at his home on November 11 last year. He was fined £608 and ordered to pay £360 in costs and surcharge.

PHILLIP HARPER, 44, of Grebe Close, Oxford, admitted assaulting a woman by beating her. He was sentenced to 16 weeks’ imprisonment suspended for two years and given a two year restraining order. He must pay a £128 victim surcharge.

CARL NELSON, 48, of Cumberland Road, Oxford, admitted exposing his privates, breaching a closure notice, attempted theft of baby oil, theft of body lotion from Superdrug, criminal damage, racially aggravated disorderly behaviour and breach of a conditional discharge. He was jailed for eight months and ordered to pay a £128 victim surcharge.

ROBERT SMIALEK, 40, of Cowley Road, Oxford, pleaded guilty to stealing wine from the Co-op and damaging furniture at Homeless Oxfordshire. He was given a six month conditional discharge, must pay £146 in compensation and a £62 in costs and surcharge.

AMBER EDWIN, 18, of Corn Bar, Witney, was given a two year conditional discharge after she admitted causing actual bodily harm. The magistrates ordered she pay £250 in compensation.

PATRICK WHEARTY, 53, of Benson, near Wallingford, was found guilty of failing to provide a specimen of blood for analysis and failing to provide a roadside drugs wipe. He was cleared of possession of cannabis. He was banned from driving for a year, must do 100 hours of unpaid work and was ordered to pay £395 in costs and surcharge.

CHARLES ANDERSON-JEFFS, 24, of Harpsden, near Henley-on-Thames, pleaded guilty to speeding on Hithercroft Road, Wallingford. He was fined £492, given six points and ordered to pay £139 in costs and surcharge.

GABRIEL ANDREEV, 21, of Fulwell Close, Banbury, was fined £660, given six points and ordered to pay £156 in costs and surcharge after he was found to have failed to give information relating to the driver of a Peugeot suspected of having committed a traffic offence.

MAAME ARKO-BURDETT, 39, of Withington Road, Bicester, admitted speeding on Launton Road, Bicester. She was fined £66, given three penalty points and ordered to pay a £34 victim surcharge.

AUREL BANESCU, 45, of Reading Road, Henley on Thames, pleaded guilty to speeding on the A40 near Great Milton. He was fined £100, given three points and told to pay £124 in costs and surcharge.

CHRISTOPHER BOTSMAN, 47, of Upland Park Road, Oxford, admitted speeding on the A34 near Wytham. He was fined £66, given three penalty points and ordered to pay a £34 victim surcharge.

MARCO CARDOSA, 34, of Stonesfield, Witney, was found to have failed to give information to police relating to the driver of a Peugeot suspected of committing a traffic offence. He was given six penalty points, fined £660 and ordered to pay £156 in costs and surcharge.

LEE CLARKE, 40, of Cholsey, near Wallingford, was fined £66, given three points and ordered to pay a £34 victim surcharge for speeding on the A4130 near Bix.

RHYS COX, 27, of Mead Walk, Didcot, was convicted of failing to give police information relating to the driver of an Alfa Romeo. He was fined £660, given six penalty points and ordered to pay £124 in costs and surcharge.

TIMOTHY DENARI, 32, of Upper Tadmarton, Oxfordshire, admitted speeding in Broughton. He was given three points, fined £66 and must pay a £34 victim surcharge.

PHILIP FORBES, 54, of Franklin Road, Oxford, was fined £660 and given six penalty points after he was found to have failed to give information to the police relating to the driver of a Citroen suspected of having been guilty of a traffic offence. He must pay £156 in costs and surcharge.

ARTUR GOLAN, 37, of Linacre Close, Didcot, was convicted of speeding on the B4493. Magistrates fined him £660, imposed six penalty points and ordered he pay £156 in costs and surcharge.

CRAIG HARRIS, 29, of Ducklington, near Witney, was fined £660 and given six penalty points after magistrates convicted him of failing to provide police with information relating to the identity of a driver. He was ordered to pay £156 in costs and surcharge.

MUHOMMAD IDDRIS, 29, of North Way, Oxford, was convicted of failing to give police information about the driver of a Mercedes. He was fined £660, given six penalty points and ordered to pay £156 in costs and surcharge.

SOPHIE WILLIAMS, 40, of Falcon Close, Oxford, admitted assaulting a woman by beating. She received a six month conditional discharge and was ordered to pay a £22 victim surcharge.

NICOLA ABSOLOM, 39, of Crowmarsh Gifford, near Wallingford, must pay £116 in compensation after she admitted stealing alcohol from Waitrose.

ELLA PECKO, 30, of Luther Street, Oxford, was given a three year community order with 20 rehabilitation activity requirement days and told to pay £150 in compensation after she admitted racially aggravated disorderly behaviour, causing criminal damage at the House of Wonders, Cornmarket, and assaulting police officers.

MOHAMMED NAZIR, 23, of Harcourt Terrace, Oxford, was given a two year community order with 120 hours of unpaid work and 10 rehabilitation days after he pleaded guilty to possession of 1kg of cannabis with intent to supply it. He must pay £180 in costs and surcharge.

LUCAS SINGLETON, 24, of Rectory Road, Oxford, pleaded guilty to possession of an imitation firearm – a BB gun – and a knife in Temple Road, Oxford, on January 25. He was ordered to do 200 hours of unpaid work and pay £180 in costs and surcharge.
