MATTRESSES, a washing machine and pallets are just some of the items that have been fly-tipped in an Oxford alley.
Photos taken today show an 'industrial scale' of rubbish dumped in the alley between Balfour Road and Druce Way in Blackbird Leys.

A resident, who has asked not to be named, says a bundle of old clothes with a note saying 'help yourself' was left outside a house in Balfour Road, but is now in the alley with two green wheelie bins.
They say the rubbish has been there for eight days and the resident has reported it to Oxford City Council.
They said the council responded on Tuesday saying: "Thank you for reporting this. We will get this cleared up as soon as possible and I will make a report of where it came from."
But the resident, who says the 'appalling' fly-tipping is a 'regular occurrence', is disappointed it still has not been cleared.

They said: "For sure I’m disappointed it’s an ongoing outrageous situation which the council can’t or won’t solve, apparently they can’t put a surveillance camera in the alley."
Oxford City Council has been contacted for comment.
