The heaviest rainfall of the weekend is expected to hit Oxfordshire this morning.
Yellow weather warnings for thunderstorms are in place until Sunday. The storms are forecast to hit the county tomorrow afternoon.
The Met Office warned that the storms could bring up to 100ml of rainfall in some places along the south coast, with risks of localised flooding.

Principal Operational Meteorologist Frank Saunders said: “The warnings in place over the weekend show a marked shift in the weather pattern for many southern areas as low pressure moves in, with potential impacts for business and the public.
“This more unsettled weather brings a risk of torrential downpours and flooding in some places. However, areas further north will cling onto see some fine weather through the weekend, although not quite as hot as recently.”
Oxford is forecast a 90 per cent chance of heavy rain between 8am and 9am this morning, with thunder and lightning expected from 3pm to around 8pm on Sunday.
