A MAN inappropriately touched himself near a woman in Oxford.

The incident of indecent exposure happened at around 4.30pm on Tuesday when the victim, a 34-year-old woman, was sat in Port Meadow, to the left of the bridge going west from the Walton Well Road car park.

She noticed a man stood close by inappropriately touching himself.

He continued to do this for a period of time before returning to where he was sat with a friend.

The man is described as an Asian man, between 38 to 40-years-old, around 5ft 11ins tall with short black hair and medium build.

He was wearing a white vest and blue denim shorts.

Thames Valley Police is now appealing for witnesses.

Investigating officer PC William White, based at Cowley police station, said: “I would like to appeal to anybody who was in the Port Meadow area around the time of the incident and may have witnessed this incident or seen the individual described above to please make a report online or call 101, quoting reference number 43210322795.

"Alternatively, you can make a report online or contact the independent charity Crimestoppers 100% anonymously on 0800 555 111 and via their website.”
