OXFORD MAGISTRATES' COURT

ASHLEY BULL, 32, of no fixed abode, admitted three counts of assault by beating a woman on Pound Field Close, Oxford on October 31, December 31 and February 12. He was made subject to a community order and as part of that, he must have treatment for alcohol dependency for 12 months. He was also made subject to a restraining order, whereby he must not contact the victim or enter Pound Field Close until June 23, 2023. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £95 and court costs of £85.

CRAIG BUTLER, 32, of Kings Close, Thame, admitted assault by beating a woman on Kings Close on December 21. He also admitted assault by beating a man at the same location on the same day. He was made subject to a community order and as part of that, he must attend appointments with a responsible officer for a maximum of 20 days and carry out 100 hours of unpaid work. He was also made subject to a restraining order, whereby he must not contact the victim until December 23. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £95 and court costs of £85.

CARL BLEACH, 30, of Kings Road, Banbury, admitted failing without reasonable cause to surrender to custody at Oxford Magistrates' Court on June 18, having been released on bail. He was fined £75 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34.

STEVEN JACKSON, 27, of Wynbush Road, Oxford, admitted possessing a knife in a public place on Walter Dyer Drive, Faringdon on April 23. He was jailed for four months, suspended for 18 months. He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £128 and court costs of £85.

MICHAEL PIKE, 31, of Saw Close, Chalgrove, admitted damaging a mobile phone on Saw Close on January 11. He also admitted damaging a garden gate and fence on Saw Close between January 1 and January 11. In total, he was ordered to pay compensation of £200.

SIMON SARBON, 46, of Cuddeson Way, Oxford, admitted drink-driving on Watlington Road, Oxford on May 23. He had 43mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35mcg. He was fined £150, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £85. He was also disqualified from driving for 16 months.

JAKE SMITH, 31, of Rose Hill, Oxford, admitted failing without reasonable excuse to comply with the supervision requirements imposed following release from a period of imprisonment. He also admitted stealing a mobile phone on Cornmarket Street, Oxford on March 30. He also took an electric scooter in Oxford on March 31. He was jailed for 20 weeks and ordered to pay compensation of £50.

BILLY CLARKE, 33, of Preston Road, Abingdon, admitted sending messages with threats, and attending a woman's home address and making threats, in Abingdon between January 9 and May 21. He was jailed for 26 weeks and made subject to a restraining order, whereby he must not attend Coopers Lane, Abingdon. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £128.

SOUL KITCHING, 20, of Balfour Road, Oxford, admitted drink-driving on Balfour Road on June 7. He had 70mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35mcg. He also admitted driving without third party insurance and a licence. In total, he was fined £300, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £33.96 and court costs of £95. He was also disqualified from driving for 24 months.

SAYED SHEHIDI, 19, of Braken Road, Chinnor, admitted possessing cannabis in Chinnor on October 19, 2019. He was fined £200, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £95.

ALISON McKIERNAN, 44, of Saunders Road, Oxford, admitted stealing four bottles of alcohol to the value of £102.50 from Sainsbury's, Oxford on October 22. She was made subject to a community order, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £95 and court costs of £95.

STEPHANIE ADAMBERRY, 31, of Cheneys Piece, Wallingford, admitted driving at 59mph in a 50mph zone on the M4 on November 30. She also admitted driving at 60mph in a 50mph zone on the M4 on December 1. In total, she was fined £200, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £90. Her driving licence was endorsed with three penalty points.

ALEXANDRA BLEDJIAN, 51, of Latimer Road, Oxford, was convicted of failing to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle when required, in Banbury between December 8 and January 5. She was fined £660, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £90. Her driving licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.

CLIVE GIBBARD, 57, of Ruscote Avenue, Banbury, was convicted of driving whilst not wearing a seat belt on the A34 Wytham on January 25. He was fined £220, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £90.

BENJAMIN REED, 35, of High Street, Chalgrove, was convicted of driving at 45mph in a 30mph zone on the A4010 High Wycombe on November 29. He was fined £100, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was endorsed with three penalty points.

CHRISTOPHER THOMPSON, 38, of Lidstone Road, Enstone, was convicted of driving at 37mph in a 30mph zone on Drayton Road, Abingdon on December 2. He was fined £220, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was endorsed with three penalty points.

MARK ABBISS, 51, of Dunstead Lane, Wytham, admitted driving at 73mph in a 40mph zone on the A41 Bicester on April 10. He was fined £253, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.

BRENDAN ABBOTT, 34, of Nicholas Avenue, Oxford, was convicted of driving at more than 30mph in a 30mph zone on Bayswater Road, Oxford on January 12. He was fined £440, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £44 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was endorsed with four penalty points.
