A PRIVATE ambulance driver is said to have caused a crash that seriously injured a man.

Danny Moss, 43, faces a single charge of causing serious injury by dangerous driving on the A4130 Nosworthy Way, Wallingford, on January 23, 2020.

Prosecutors claim he was behind the wheel of the Renault Master ambulance when he caused the crash that left his alleged victim injured.

Moss was not present when the case came before Recorder Michael Roques at Oxford Crown Court on Monday afternoon.

His barrister, Catherine Zara Walker, said mental health reports were being prepared by the defence. The court heard he had suffered an injury in another crash.

The case was adjourned until a hearing on September 8. Jonathan Sank appeared for the Crown Prosecution Service.
