A dad died on a fishing trip when he fell into the Thames, a coroner’s court heard.
Dean Luckett, 33, fell into the river while on a fishing trip with his children on Saturday, July 3, near Wallingford.
Oxford Coroner’s Court heard he was certified dead by an emergency helicopter doctor at 7.30pm.
Opening the inquest into his death, senior coroner for Oxfordshire Darren Salter said: “The cause of death remains under investigation.”
Mr Luckett lived in Dorchester-upon-Thames.
The case was adjourned. A full inquest is expected to be heard on October 12.
