Sunbathers have rushed to parks while others are taking shade in this weekend's sweltering heatwave.
According to the Met Office temperatures hit 28 degrees on Saturday by 4pm in Oxford and today temperatures are set to soar to 31 degrees by 3pm.
The Met Office is working closely with Public Health England this weekend and has warned people to stay hydrated, not to leave children or pets in cars, and apply sunscreen.
The RAC also warned drivers to be careful as higher temperatures can cause accidents on roads, which are likely to be busier.
PHE issued a heat-health warning on Thursday for the weekend, urging people to look out for those who may struggle to keep cool and hydrated, such as older people and those who live alone.
The hot weather is set to continue with temperature in Oxford this week set to stay about 25 degrees according to the MET Office.
