Williams Jet Tenders is the world’s leading jet tender specialist and this week hit a milestone and launched its 10,000th boat.

Berinsfield-based boat company started as all good stories do, in a shed where two brothers turned their passion for the sea into a thriving business.

Williams Jet Tenders now employs more than 100 staff, have a turnover of over £24m, and, this year, launch their 10,000th tender.

Williams’ first boats were a far cry from the tenders it builds today, starting out with wooden day boats designed and built in the classic Italian style, but it shifted up a gear in 2002 with the release of the Ski Rib - a faster, more agile boat designed for almost any yacht fitment.

Over the past 20 years, the company has expanded its product range to meet the demands of the world’s most famous boating brands. Today, Williams produces 14 different models across five model ranges building more than 900 boats per year.

Mathew Hornsby, sales director at Williams Jet Tenders, said: “We first thought the Vogue Business Park factory was too big and built a wall to divide the space. But we quickly grew, so down came the wall. And now we’re launching our 10,000th tender - a huge occasion for the whole team. We’re proud of what we’ve achieved, and it’s all down to our amazing colleagues and customers.”
