Two people were trapped in their cars following an accident near Berinsfield last night.
Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service was called at around 5.15pm to the A4074 after two cars were involved in a collision.
Two fire engines from Abingdon fire station and the heavy rescue unit from Didcot attended the incident.
One victim had to be cut from their vehicle after it ploughed into a ditch, while another was rescued from a car which hit the central reservation.
Oxfordshire Ambulance Service said one casualty had received chest injuries and the other had not gained full consciousness.
It is thought both were taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital for treatment.
