The day’s event let the children enjoy a picnic outdoors, play games and have fun with their new bears. The children were then able to take their new companions home with them.

Rob Allen, Sales Director at David Wilson Homes Southern, said: “The pandemic has had an impact on the social events and parties young children would normally experience, so we hope the children at Grovelands Park Preschool had a great time during their Teddy Bears’ Picnic.

“As a leading homebuilder, it is important to us to care for the local communities in the areas in which we build and we hope that our donation made the children’s’ day all the more special.”
