Three boats built in the county were transported to London to take part in this year's boat show.
The boats, made by Oxfordshire Narrowboats, were lifted by a 40-tonne crane and placed on to a lorry in time for the start of the Collins Stewart 2008 London Boat Show next week.
Tomorrow the narrowboats are due to be picked up from Enslow Wharf, 10 miles north of Oxford, bound for the ExCeL Exhibition Centre, where they will join other boats from around the UK.
Tens of thousands of visitors are expected to attend between January 11 and 20.
David Dare, owner of Oxfordshire Narrowboats, based in Lower Heyford, said: "Watching our boats go skyward was the first stage of what will hopefully be a very successful show for us."
