A pensioner has been ordered onto the sex offender register for seven years after he admitted having child sex abuse images.
Gerald Fulham, 83, was sentenced to six months’ imprisonment suspended for two years by Recorder John Ryder QC at Oxford Crown Court this week.
At the Magistrates’ Court in May, Fulham, of Sugworth Lane, Radley, pleaded guilty to three counts of possession of indecent images and a fourth charge of having prohibited images of children.
His vile collection included 99 images in the worst category – A – and 46 in category B.
The judge ordered Fulham abide by a five year sexual harm prevention order. The tablet computer on which the images were found will be destroyed. He must pay £425 prosecution costs.
