A 32-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving after a multi-car pile up in Thame which left four people including a child in hospital.
Three cars collided on the A418 Thame western bypass on Friday.
Police charged the woman with dangerous driving. She suffered bruising and whiplash in the smash.
She has been bailed by police until Thursday, January 24, pending further enquiries.
A six-year-old girl was treated for cuts and bruising and a broken collar bone and a 43-year-old woman suffered fractured ribs and a broken collar bone.
Both have now been released from hospital.
A 20-year-old woman remains in hospital in a serious condition with head and facial injuries. Her injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
A black Skoda Fabia, silver Vauxhall Corsa and grey Honda CRV collided on the bypass at about 1.30pm.
Police closed the road for around five hours while patients and debris were removed and launched an investigation into the cause of the crash.
