The OX5 RUN has raised an incredible £100,000.

The event, which normally takes place at Blenheim Palace and is a key fundraiser for the Oxford Children's Hospital, was held virtually with people running five miles in their local area at the end of March.

Many were former patients and their families plus hospital staff from across the NHS Trust.

Gail Williams of Oxford Hospitals Charity, said: “Although we couldn’t be together at Blenheim, we were still able to capture some of the magic that makes the OX5 RUN so special.

“From supporters taking part in fancy dress, families running with their children and even runners spread across the globe, we saw first-hand what people were willing to do to help local children in hospital.”

She said the team were 'in awe' of the local community.

The event was sponsored by Allen Associates, JACK FM Oxfordshire and the Oxford Mail.
