NEARLY 200 Covid-19 cases were recorded in Oxfordshire over the weekend as the overall cases since the pandemic started surpassed 35,000.
In addition, official figures show that as of 4pm on Monday a total of 68 new coronavirus cases were registered in the county.
These come to nine more than those recorded on Monday last week.

The UK has recorded a further five Covid-related deaths and 10,633 new cases with 226 patients admitted to hospital, Public Health England confirmed.
Currently, four patients with Covid-19 are being treated in hospitals in Oxfordshire, with two of them on ventilation.
Cases identified through a positive lateral flow test – those which can deliver results within half an hour – will no longer be counted if the person then takes a PCR test, which is sent to a lab to be checked, and receives a negative result within three days.
The latest data shows that the NHS reached an important milestone as more than 81.9 per cent of the population has received their first dose of a Covid-19 vaccine, while 59.7 per cent of adults have received their second jab.
