Award-winning garden, plant, flower and botanical photography is currently on show alongside images of the beauty of the parkland and formal gardens at Blenheim Palace.

Stunning winning entries from the Beautiful Blenheim 2021 competition are being exhibited alongside those from the prestigious International Garden Photographer of the Year (IGPOTY) exhibition on outdoor panels next to the Rose Garden.

The winner of Beautiful Blenheim 2021 was chosen by the Duke of Marlborough and is entitled Sculpting the Sky.

It is a striking black and white image of the Column of Victory taken by Brian Lee.

[His Grace??] said: “I chose the photo Sculpting the Sky as the clouds remind me of the words 'Like the circles that you find in the windmills of your mind'.”

The lyric is from Noel Harrison’s hit The Windmills of Your Mind which featured in the 1968 film The Thomas Crown Affair.
