Residents of a Witney care home enjoyed a Royal afternoon tea and sang Land of Hope and Glory to mark the Queen’s 95th birthday.
Although the Queen's actual birthday was on April 21, when she was still in mourning for the Duke of Edinburgh, Trooping the Colour always takes place on her official birthday on the second weekend in June.
Alison Parry, home manager at Care UK's Millers Grange, said: “We had a wonderful time.
"We have many residents that have grown up following the Royal family, and enjoy reminiscing about their favourite milestones over the years - whether its the coronation, jubilees, or even birthdays, many of these occasions are linked to joyous and happy memories for residents, which they love sharing with one another.
“It was a fantastic afternoon, and we are already looking forward to planning activities for next year’s platinum jubilee!”
