An unlicensed BMW driver was caught doing 126mph on the M40.
Arturas Janovic, 27, had already been found guilty in his absence of driving the 64-plate BMW 125 on the M40 near Bicester on February 7, 2021, without a licence, insurance and at almost twice the speed limit.
He was due before Oxford Magistrates’ Court on Saturday morning for the justices to consider whether he should be banned from the roads.
Janovic, of Southcote Road, Bournemouth, failed to attend and the case was adjourned to September 8 at High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court.
He will be sent a letter warning him he could still be disqualified from driving if he doesn’t turn up at court.
