A woman was threatened with a crowbar by robbers posing as would-be buyers of a motorcycle.

Three men knocked on the door of a home in Bourton, near Shrivenham, at around 1pm on Saturday asking about a bike for sale.

The woman tried to get rid of the men, but they forced their way inside and threatened her with a crowbar.

One of the men went upstairs to search the house while two men stayed downstairs.

After 10 minutes they left with £58 in cash.

Dc Jon Shaw said: "The men claimed that they were at the property to see a man about buying a motorcycle.

"Police are linking this to similar offences that happened on the same day in Wiltshire.

"This is a terrifying type of burglary that has left the victim, a woman in her sixties, shaken from the ordeal and we are keen to catch these men."

The wanted men are all white and around 20-years-old.

Two are described as tall and thin with short black hair and one was wearing a black bomber jacket. The third man is slightly larger and had short dark hair.
