TWO people have been remanded in custody over the attempted murder of a man in Cowley.
Alan Wood, 45, and Tracy Hickman, 42, both of Oxford Road, Cowley, appeared at Oxford Magistrates' Court today.
They are charged with the attempted murder of Mark Smith who was found in Oxford Road on Sunday, December 30, at 11.30pm.
He suffered 12 knife wounds and a collapsed lung. Mr Smith remains in a stable condition in hospital.
A bail application for Wood was refused by Judge Brian Loosley. Both were remanded in custody to appear at Oxford Crown Court on Monday, January 7.
