A CAR fire which happened in the early hours of this morning is being treated as arson by firefighters.
The Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service's Witney crew was called to reports of a vehicle fire in Standlake at 3.10am this morning.
A photograph from the scene of the fire shows a silver car which appears to be burnt out from the inside, with two firefighters standing alongside it with a hose reel.
A statement from the fire service posted online said: "At 03.10 hrs early Monday morning a crew from Witney Fire Station were called to reports of a vehicle on fire in Standlake.
"This is being treated as arson and we urge anyone who may have seen anything to contact our colleagues Thames Valley Police on 101 if they saw anything suspicious."
