Police are appealing for information in connection with a voyeurism offence in Thrupp.

It was reported that a man was hiding in long grass, watching three teenage girls get changed after they had been swimming.

The incident happened by the River Cherwell near Thrupp Community Woodland at about 4.40pm on Saturday June 5.

The girls challenged the man, who then fled the scene on a bicycle in the direction of Canal Road.

Investigating officer PC Faik Muhtaroglu said: “We need the public’s help to find the offender. He is described as a white man, in his 20s or 30s, about 5ft 7in tall and bald. He was wearing a red top and a cream coloured cap.

“I am appealing to anyone who may have information in connection with this incident, especially if you saw the man in the area, know who he is, or think you recognise his description.
