A FUNERAL company has been helping out charities over the pandemic.
Mid-England Barrow usually provides storage for ashes, but it has been hosting a coffee morning every Wednesday in their meadow, with all the proceeds going to a different charity each week.
The couple who own the company based near Banbury, have now raised over £500 for Guide Dogs for the Blind, Cancer Research and the Alzheimer’s society.

Gill Power from the Guide Dogs for the Blind said: “We’re delighted by the generosity and support that Mid-England Barrow has provided to Banbury and Bicester Guide Dogs with their charity coffee morning.
“Everyone who attended received a warm and friendly welcome into the tranquil setting and the atmosphere was very relaxed as we were served drinks and delicious homemade cakes. We’re very grateful for the funds raised and for the opportunity to find out more and explore the truly unique barrow.”
