A MAN died today in a car crash in Banbury.

Police said that at 2.43am a black Renault Clio was travelling along Hennef Way from the direction of the M40 when it failed to negotiate a roundabout and lost control.

As a result, the car ended up on its roof.

Police said the driver, a 29-year-old man, died at the scene as a result of his injuries.

PC Bob Merrill, of the Bicester Roads Policing Base, said: "We would like to hear from anyone that may have seen this car prior to the collision or witnessed the collision itself."
