A TEENAGE boy is in hospital with a head injury after he was involved in a crash with a car.

The boy was riding his bike at around 6.40pm yesterday on Broughton Road in Banbury when a grey Citroen C3 collided with him just prior to the junction with Banbury Road.

The cyclist sustained a head injury and was taken to hospital where he remains.

No arrests have been made.

Investigating officer, PC Alex Norrish, of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, said; “I am appealing for any witnesses to this incident to please come forward.

“I would also ask any motorists with dash-cams who were in the local area around 6.40pm yesterday to please check any footage in case it has captured something that could assist the investigation.
