OXFORD MAGISTRATES’ COURT

SHOFIK TOWNSEND, 44, of Cowley Road, Oxford, was convicted of theft of a bicycle on September 11 on Rewley Road, Oxford. He was also convicted of going equipped for theft on September 17 at Abingdon Police Station, and failing to surrender to custody on November 13 and April 29 at Oxford Magistrates’ Court. He also admitted theft of a bicycle on February 27 in Oxford and failing to comply with notification requirements of the Sexual Offences Act on January 15. He was made subject to a community order and as part of that, he must attend appointments with a responsible officer for a maximum of 15 days. He was ordered to pay compensation of £450 and court costs of £625.

JACOB ZWART, 55, of Wilson Avenue, Henley, admitted possessing a swordstick on February 21 at Henley Piazza. He was made subject to a community order and must carry out unpaid work for 100 hours. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £95 and court costs of £85.

GARETH MOORE, 56, of Ducklington Lane, Witney, admitted harassment between October 2 and November 8 in Carterton. He was made subject to a restraining order and must not contact the victim until May 3, 2023. He was fined £295, ordered to pay compensation of £250, a victim surcharge of £34, and court costs of £85.

SHERINA BARTRAM, 47, of Claremont Place, Chinnor, admitted driving without third party insurance on Banbury Road, Oxford on March 25. She was fined £120, and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £85. She was also disqualified from driving for 12 months.

AARON BOTLEY, 20, of Combe Road, Stonesfield, admitted failing to stop his car when required by an officer, and driving without third party insurance, on Nine Acres Lane, Charlbury on March 8. He was fined £200, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £85. His driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.

ALEXANDRU ENE, 19, admitted stealing goods to the value of £1,088 from Marks & Spencer, Witney on March 26. He was fined £233, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £85.

JOANNE McCLEMENTS, 44, of no fixed abode, admitted criminal damage on Hill Top Road, Oxford on April 28. She was ordered to pay £100 compensation.

ANDREW SMITH, 56, of Thameside Court, Northmoor, was convicted of failing to provide a specimen while driving in Abingdon on December 28. He was made subject to a community order and must attend appointments with a responsible officer for a maximum of eight days. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £90 and court costs of £400. He was disqualified from driving for 14 months.

DAWN McMILLAN, 44, of Burford Road, Chipping Norton, admitted two counts of assault on Burford Road, Chipping Norton on May 19. She was made subject to a community order, and must attend appointments with a responsible officer for a maximum of 25 days. She was ordered to pay £200 compensation and courts costs of £300.

SEAN FOLAN, 24, of Bayswater Road, Oxford, admitted driving at 45mph in a 30mph zone on the B4027 Forest Hill on October 9. He was fined £66 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34. His driving licence was endorsed with four penalty points.

STEPHEN JEX, 59, of Highlands Lane, Henley, admitted driving at 42mph in a 30mph zone on Henley Road, Reading on October 8. He was fined £66 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34. His driving licence was endorsed with four penalty points.

SAMANTHA KEATES, 45, of Broad Field Road, Yarnton, admitted driving at 66mph in a 40mph zone on the A41 Bicester on February 20. She was fined £242, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £90. Her driving licence was endorsed with six points.

PRZEMYSLAW RYZOWSKI, 32, of Diamond Drive, Didcot, admitted driving at 42mph in a 30mph zone on Shirburn Road, Watlington on October 6. He was fined £66 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34. His driving licence was endorsed with four penalty points.

CAVAN STURROCK, 25, of Talbot Close, Banbury, admitted driving at 79mph in a 60mph zone on the A5 Bletchley on October 5. He was fined £66 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34. His driving licence was endorsed with three penalty points.

STEPHEN TUGWELL, 33, of Ansell Way, Milton-under-Wychwood, admitted driving without wearing a seat belt on Witney Road, Standlake on October 6. He was fined £60, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £90.

PHILIP LEDBURY, 57, of Brookside, Wantage, admitted driving at 64mph in a 50mph zone on the A34 Wytham on September 10. He was fined £66 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34. His driving licence was endorsed with three penalty points.

NICHOLAS PLUMRIDGE, 55, of Manor Road, Whitchurch-on-Thames, was convicted of failing to give information relating to the identification of a driver between October 6 and November 3 in Banbury. He was fined £660, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.

ROSELYN FINAU, 45, of Elm Close, Ambrosden, was convicted of failing to give information relating to the identification of a driver between September 24 and October 22 in Banbury. She was fined £660, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £90. She was disqualified from driving for six months.

TERESA AMOS, 38, of Hilton Road, Banbury, admitted breaching a non-molestation order on May 4. She was jailed for six weeks, suspended for 12 months. She was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £128 and court costs of £85.

ANDREW ROBINSON, 52, of Botley Road, Oxford, was convicted of breaching a criminal behaviour order on May 4 in Botley Road, Oxford. He also admitted racially/ religiously aggravated harassment. He was jailed for eight weeks. He was also fined £150 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £128.

DAVID JAMES, 50, of Bodley Place, Oxford, admitted stealing £38 worth of washing liquid from Sainsbury’s, Oxford on March 14. He also admitted stealing £40.40 of coffee on March 18 and £36 of Ariel Bio Gel and Fairy Bio Gel on April 25. He was jailed for seven weeks.

STEVEN WILKINSON, 32, of Churchill Road, Bicester, was convicted of assault by beating a woman in Bicester on October 17. He was made subject to a community order and must attend appointments with a responsible officer for a maximum of 20 days. He was fined £800, and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £95 and court costs of £400.
