A SPECIAL school has created its own art gallery, inspired by Oxfordshire Artweeks.
Students at John Watson School in Wheatley have produced art with the theme ‘new beginnings and hope’.
Pupils joined in with a series of creative experiences, including painting and printing, photography and making sculptures.
Karen French, whose work was exhibited in Oxfordshire Artweeks, visited the school to look at the gallery after one of her pieces – Wish – inspired a class with its art.

Due to coronavirus guidelines, the school cannot be opened to parents and carers, therefore a virtual gallery has been created.

In September, plans to expand the school from 91 to 107 places were approved.
