Oxford has some of the cleanest restaurants in England, according to new data which has been revealed just as restaurants reopen for indoor dining.
End-of-Tenancy-London.co.uk analysed food hygiene ratings of restaurants, cafes, and canteens in major cities across England and has revealed Oxford is in the top 20 for cleanest restaurants in the country.

Oxford scored a rating of 4.67 out of five for its overall food hygiene rating.
Carlisle scored the best hygiene rating with 4.9.
On the other end of the hygiene spectrum was Birmingham, which had an average food hygiene rating of 4.15.
